The VRI Regional Centres of Bendigo, Ballarat and Geelong house Billiards and Snooker clubs and competitions - current VRI and new members always welcome!
The VRI Billiards and Snooker (roaming) Club Play in the annual ARI Billiards and Snooker Competition.
Teams are made up from Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and Tasmania/South Australia playing off for the Team Trophy, and other Individual awards. The VRI Club Secretary, has a great history at this event, winning the Individual Billiards Championship over 25 times.The competitions are fiercely fought, where old friendships are renewed, and new ones made each year.

Life Member, Ian Gilbee
"Ian Gilbee, has been a Billiards and Snooker player for many years, and involved with the VRI Billiards and Snooker Club, and the Australian Railways Institutes Billiards and Snooker Annual Competition, for over 40 years. Ian himself is the usual winner of the ARI Individual Billiards Championship, having won it over 28 times.
I have personally seen Ian in action a number of times in the last 12 years at Victorian hosted competitions, and remain impressed with his patience, ability to perform consistently, and his organisational skills are fantastic!
