SEYMOUR VRI BOWLS CLUB - Annual Sports Report 2020
If the start of our season began well then, the conclusion certainly took a sudden and unceremonious abrupt finish with the Corona Virus impacting a number of our end of season functions, with government isolation restrictions forcing the closure of the clubhouse and our membership into lock down.
A number of club championships were unable to be completed, Women’s Singles, B Grade and Handicap Singles amongst them. The Tony O’Loughlin Triples was cancelled, whilst our Presentation Night and the Annual General Meeting have been postponed to dates to be decided once lifting of restrictions permit.
