As the rail network expanded across the state of Victoria, so did the Victorian Railways Institute (VRI). Today, the VRI is proud to manage a variety of community halls located near local train stations, providing easy transport access for all users.

Whether you are looking for a venue for a local club, a fitness class, or a community meeting, our halls offer both large and small spaces to suit your needs.

Booking Rates & Information

We welcome both casual and permanent bookings from community groups.

Important Note: We do not cater for private functions, such as 21st birthday parties or similar private celebrations.

Requirements for Hire

To ensure the safety and security of our spaces, all hirers must:

• Complete the inquiry form below.

• Provide a copy of valid Public Liability Insurance.

• Abide by the specific terms and conditions of the local hall.

Once you submit your details, we will put you in touch with the local caretaker who will provide you with specific hall details and help you finalise your booking.
